Our Team
Dr. German A. Gomez
Dr. German Gomez was born and raised in Colombia, and received his dentistry degree from the Universidad de Santo Tomas de Aquino (USTA). During his time living and working in Colombia, he also received his degree in Orthodontics from USTA.
Dr. Gomez and his family moved to Canada in 2004, and he graduated from the University of Western Ontario's Dentistry program in 2011. He moved to PEI after graduating and has been working in West Prince since.
He took over Tignish Dental Clinic after Dr. Crockers' retirement in 2014. He believes in a compassionate and caring team, knowledge and the advantage of dental technology, our team will help our patients to achieve their dental health care to get a happy and healthy smile.
In his free time, Dr. Gomez enjoys cycling, reading, and travelling with his family. He and his wife, Dr. Mabel Angulo, have two children.
Vanessa MacLeod, RDH
Vanessa graduated from Oulton College in 2013 with a Diploma in Dental Hygiene.
Upon graduation Vanessa moved to Cape Breton, where she worked as a hygienist for 3.5 yrs before moving back home to PEI. She has been with the Tignish Dental Clinic since 2017.
In her spare time Vanessa enjoys travelling, baking, camping at MarcoPoloLand in the summer and spending time with her nieces and nephew.
Diane Murphy, RDH
Diane graduated from Dalhousie University in 1991, with her diploma of dental hygiene. Diane started her career in dental hygiene in Tignish after graduation and has continued to work in Tignish ever since. She has entered her 32nd year as a practising dental hygienist.
Diane is currently a council representative of the College of Dental Hygienists of PEI.
When not at work, Diane loves to spend time with her family, friends and time outdoors enjoying nature.
Meagan Arsenault, Dental Assistant (Level 2)
Meagan was raised in St. Louis. She attended the Holland College Dental Assisting Program and has been a Certified Dental Assistant since 2014. She has been working along side of Dr Gomez ever since.
When not working Meagan enjoys making memories with her family and friends, reading and going for walks.
Erin Murphy, Dental Assistant (Level 2)
Erin was raised in Elmsdale and now resides in Campbellton with her husband Loman, and has three children and two granddaughters.
Erin graduated from Holland College Dental Assistant in the class of 1978. She worked with Dr Crocker up until Feb 2014 when Dr. Gomez bought the business.
She enjoys Ceilidh music, family gatherings, staff gatherings, yard work and farming along side her husband.
Jenelle Pitre, Dental Assistant (Level 2)
Jenelle was raised in Tignish. She attended the Holland College Dental Assisting Program and has been a Certified Dental Assistant since 2013. She has worked off island in Nova Scotia for 5 years and is happy to have made her way back to her hometown.
When not working, Jenelle enjoys spending time with her family, gardening and reading.
Santana Wedge, Dental Assistant (Level 2)
Santana was born and raised in Tignish, PEI. She attended Oulton College where she graduated as a Dental Assistant in 2022. Santana moved back to her home town and is loving every moment working with The Tignish Dental Clinic.
When not at work, Santana enjoys spending time with family and friends and going to the gym.
Allison Gorrill, Dental Assistant (Level 2)
Allison was born and grew up on the island and now lives in Cascumpec . Allie finished her dental assistant program at Holland College and has been working in Tignish since.
When Allie isn’t working she likes to bake/cook, go to the gym, going on the ATV and loves taking her dog Harley on walks.
Amanda Adams, Dental Assistant (Level 2)
Amanda was born and raised on PEI. She graduated from Holland College and received her Dental Assisting Level 2. She worked at Hunter River Dental Clinic for 10 years with Dr. David Richardson doing pediatric dentistry while working in an office setting as well as the Operating Room at 3 hospitals ( PCH, QEH, and Amherst Nova Scotia) on a weekly basis.
She later moved to Alberton and continued on practising at the Tignish Dental Clinic doing general dentistry.
When she’s not at work she enjoys spending time with her family, personal training, working out, cooking, baking and meal prepping as well as skating.
Dr. Mabel Liliana Angulo, Office Manager
Dr. Angulo was born and raised in Colombia. She attended the Universidad Santo Tomas de Aquino (USTA) where she received her Dentistry Degree.
Dr. Angulo and her family moved to PEI in 2011, and received her certification in Dental Office Management from the University of Toronto in 2016.
When not at work, she loves to spend time with her family and friends, working out, reading, and walking her dogs, Geronimo and Ophelia.
Jenna Livingstone
Jenna lives in West Cape with her husband, three children and two golden doodles. Jenna graduated from the Medical Administrative Assistant program in 2006 and began working at the clinic a few short months later. She enjoys working in the dental field and meeting so many wonderful people everyday.
During the weekend when she isn’t at the rink she enjoys spending time with family and friends, knitting and staying active.
Sabrina Cormier
Sabrina was raised and currently resides in Tignish, PE. She attended Career Skills for Administrative Assistant and Holland College for Resident Care Worker. She has been working at the Tignish Dental Clinic for 2 years as a receptionist.
In her spare time she loves to spend time with family and friends at sporting events or gatherings.
Wendy Doucette
Wendy was raised in Summerside and now resides in West Prince with her husband and their three children.
Wendy was raised in Summerside and now resides in West Prince with her husband and their three children. She worked as a Resident Care Worker and went to Holland College for her Business Manager Diploma. Wendy enjoys spending time with her family, the outdoors and travelling.
Myrra de Mesa
Myrra was born in the Philippines, and now lives in Tignish. She's worked as sterilization technician at Tignish Dental Clinic (TDC) since 2021.
Myrra is a cat lover and a homebody.
